UV-LED Characterization and Measurement requires a source to power the device and an optical measurement instrument to measure the device output. The turnkey UV LED characterization and measurement test station may be configured with any Vektrex SMU. Key measurements include Peak Power, Irradiance, and Radiant Flux. Key operating modes include Constant Current, Single Pulse, Continuous Pulse, Differential Continuous Pulse (UV LED specific) and Dynamic Modes. Flexible triggering combined with a hardware timing system enable time-aligned SMART Measurements. Grab one point, multiple points, or a sweep. Graphically view IV and LIV curves and select the points for reference.

LM-80 Automated Light Measurements

Vektrex automated light measurement system automates the measurements required for LM-80 and LM-21. It is applicable for devices mounted on a load board, single devices and light modules. Periodic light measurements of devices under test are required to meet LM-80 standards testing. The photometric measurements are taken and logged at T0 and again every 1,000 hours. Resultant data is entered a TM-21 specified algorithm and a Lumen Maintenance (LM) number is calculated.
